Today, photographs are ever present in our lives. Standards about what we believe to be great photography are drown by literally billions of uploaded photos every day. Cameras are designed to make photography easier, faster, sharper, but what makes a photograph “better”?

 

More than half a century ago, the famous landscape and nature photographer Ansel Adams described his technique known as ‘visualisation’ inspiring photographers around the world to not just point the camera and push a button, but creating a photograph through a decisive internal process.
